Patras: A Gateway to the West


Patras, located on the northern side of Peloponnese, is Greece's third largest urban area, as well as the regional capital of all Western Greece. Being a metropolis with a bustling population of more than a quarter of a million inhabitants, and a center for commerce, culture and tourism, the city can be accessed through a variety of means of transportation, and also uses a great deal of regional transit means for connecting the city with its suburbs.
